Abstract: This study investigates the impact of communication on project management effectiveness, aiming to: 1) identify key communication challenges in project management, 2) evaluate the effectiveness of various communication strategies, and 3) recommend best practices for improving communication within project teams. A survey design was utilized to gather data from project managers and team members, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of communication dynamics. The sample size of 365 respondents was determined using Taro Yamane's formula, ensuring a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. The case study focused on the telecommunications sector in Abuja, where effective communication is essential. The reliability coefficient score of the survey instrument was 0.89, indicating high reliability. Findings showed that regular, clear, and transparent communication significantly enhances project management effectiveness. It is recommended that organizations implement structured communication plans and use technology to facilitate timely and effective communication.
